We are a family-owned farm in southern Indiana and southern Illinois offering local,
homegrown watermelons, sweet corn, cantaloupe, pumpkins, squash, and honey. The Mouzins are a
family of dedicated growers, packers, and shippers who specialize in the distribution of the highest
quality fruits & vegetables to the entire Midwest region.
Julius Mouzin, Sr. founded the first Mouzin Brothers Farms in 1935 with only 35 acres of land.
His sons, Julius, Jr. and Paul, helped expand the farming operation over the years.
Today with farms in Indiana and Illinois, third generation farmers Ed and Dennis, along with
their father, Paul, continue a strong family tradition of knowledge and experience combined with
honesty & integrity.
Cantaloupe
Athena, Muskmelon, Honey Rock, Eastern Cantaloupe…whatever you remember it by, there is
no better cantaloupe than what is grown in Knox County, Indiana and Lawrence County, Illinois at
Mouzin Brothers Farms. These traditional Athena type varieties are grown and harvested at the perfect
time to capture the robust flavor and aroma of the cantaloupe you've always known and loved.
Our cantaloupe is hand harvested, washed and sanitized, packed into bins or cartons, and
delivered to local retail stores as quickly as possible.
Super Fresh Sweet Corn
Mouzin sweet corn is produced in abundance on our farms from May to October. We carefully
select the sweetest varieties and harvest at peak maturity to provide top quality and taste. Whether
you prefer your sweet corn on the grill, in a shrimp boil, as an elote, in chowder, or baked into
cornbread, you can count on Mouzin Brothers for the best taste.
Our sweetcorn is handpicked, hydro-cooled, and then packaged in crates or RPC containers to
customer preference. In order to improve freshness and taste for extended periods, and for
convenience at the customer level, we also offer a tray packed sweet corn option.
Fall Items
Every fall, Mouzin Brothers' fields contribute to the brilliant display of color in the Midwest. We
offer many varieties of pumpkins, and squash. Once ordered our pumpkins and/or squash are sized, bin
or carton packed, and shipped to you. Pass on the beauty of the fall season this year.
