A semi-hard cheese that is aged for 3-6 months. It is a French inspired cheese and is most commonly used for melting by heating the cheese and scraping off the melted part over potatoes, vegetables or meats. It has a very distinctive pleasant nutty aroma with a creamy texture that does not separate when melted. Perfect for mixing with pastas, casseroles and flatbreads. Also pairs well on a charcuterie board with fruits and meats.
