Andrea Bettini was born and raised in Mantua, Italy. His passion for food and music
and his desire to radically change his life led him to move from Italy to Indianapolis
Indiana. Starting at an early age Andrea worked alongside his mother in the
preparation of classic Italian food. This experience has allowed him to develop a
unique gift that culminated in starting Bettini Pasta in 2015.
Bettini Pasta is a Fresh Pasta Company located in the revitalized Massachusetts
Avenue corridor near downtown Indianapolis. Through a member of the Italian
Heritage Society of Indiana, Andrea met Tom Battista and his son Edward Battista and
they had high esteem and desire for Andrea's ideas of introducing fresh pasta to the
Indianapolis area. Also with their help, guidance and knowledge, Bettini Pasta has
grown considerably in the last two years.
Bettini Pasta uses authentic Italian recipes from Andrea’s background to make fresh
pasta daily. Bettini Pasta is the freshest artisan pasta being served by many upscale
restaurants and delicatessens in Central Indiana.
By keeping their hands in the process and using modern production methods, Bettini
Pasta is able to produce large quantities of fresh artisan pasta.
