Carl and Sue Dillman began making all-natural apple butter in a small town in
southern Indiana in 1970 and selling it to orchards and small shops in the area. In 1981
Carl was asked to make peach preserves for a local bakery. After perfecting the
recipe, he added preserves to the product line. Today, Dillman Farm makes over 120
different all-natural fruit butter spreads, preserves, jellies, mustards, salsas,
barbecue sauces, and hot apple products at our cookhouse in Bloomington Indiana.
Our mission both then and now is to make an all-natural product of the highest quality
and superior taste. At Dillman Farm, we’ve made our reputation by making our
products the old fashioned way—by using whole fruit and pure cane sugar. We make
our products with no preservatives or corn syrups, which allows us to pack as much
fruit into every jar.
To this goal, we believe the food we eat should be as simple as possible.
